The project “Cinema in the Rhodopes. Screenings and Educational Events” promotes audience development, educational initiatives, professional and critical debates through free screening of cultural content, along with giving the opportunity to meet prominent authors and artists. It enriches the cultural calendar of Smolyan, actively contributes to the development of the creative sector in the region and helps to form a new generation of educated young audience, which receives free systematic access to quality cultural content.
Weekly film and cinema education programme with free public access. The project aims to create conditions for increasing the intensity and the dynamic of cultural activities in the Smolyan region; to promote the development of audiences, educational initiatives, professional and critical debates through free display of cultural content; to give the opportunity to meet prominent authors and artists, who will share their experience in theoretical and practical interdisciplinary panels with free access. These meetings aim to develop the creative potential of the participants and to broaden their knowledge in different social cultural aspects.
